The invention provides a pneumatic disc type auxiliary brake device. The pneumatic disc type auxiliary brake device is arranged on a drum shaft of a winch and comprises an installation seat fixedly arranged on the winch, a brake clamp connected with the installation seat and a brake disc matched with the brake clamp, wherein the brake disc is fixedly connected with a connecting disc of the drum shaft of the winch. The pneumatic disc type auxiliary brake device provided by the invention has the beneficial effects that compared with a traditional water-cooled type auxiliary brake device, cooling liquid and a cooling water tank are not needed, an original water cooling system is omitted, and the purchasing cost and the running cost are greatly reduced; a brake block which is adopted has the characteristics of high wear resistance and easiness in replacement, and the daily maintenance cost is reduced.
