The invention relates to an electromagnetic rail crane, wherein the position of a lifting hook can be adjusted. The crane comprises a left supporting column and a right supporting column fixedly on the ground, respectively, wherein a first electromagnet and a second electromagnet are correspondingly arranged on the opposite side faces of the left and right supporting columns. The crane further comprises a slide bar, a slide block, a first transmission device, a second transmission device, a steel rope, a lifting hook and a control device, wherein two ends of the slide bar are respectively fixed on the left and right supporting columns; an accommodating cavity is formed on the lower part of the slide block; the first transmission device is arranged in the accommodating cavity; the lifting hook is arranged below the slide block; one end of the steel rope is fixedly connected with an output shaft of the first transmission device while the other end of the steel rope is fixedly connected with the lifting hook; the second transmission device is arranged below the right supporting column; the output shaft of the second transmission device extends into the right supporting column from the bottom face of the right supporting column; a control device is electrically connected with the first and second electromagnets, the first and second transmission devices and an external power supply, respectively.
