The invention discloses a swing control method, swing control equipment and a swing control system for a hoister load as well as engineering machinery. The method comprises the following steps: obtaining state information of a current operation and state information of a steel wire rope; determining an optimal length of the steel wire rope according to the state information of the current operation and a length-operation state mapping table of the steel wire rope, wherein the length of the steel wire rope is the length of the steel wire rope between the head of a hoisting arm and a hoisting hook; controlling rope winding and unwinding of a winch according to the length of the steel wire rope and the state information of the steel wire rope to enable a swing angle of the hoister load to be smaller than a predetermined angle range, wherein the swing angle is an included angle between the current steel wire rope and a vertical plane on which the hoisting arm is arranged. The method can be used for effectively controlling the swing amplitude of the hoister load in real time in a hoisting process to guarantee that the hoister load can stably reach an appointed position, so that the hoisting operation efficiency is greatly improved.
