The invention relates to a hydrofoil lift-type surface effect ship comprising a ship body, water injection propellers, columns, lift hydrofoils and a balancing hydrofoil. The ship body is in the hydrofoil form. The soggy columns are arranged under the hydrofoil form. One or two pairs of columns are arranged on the front portion. The tail portion is provided with one column. The lift hydrofoils are arranged on the upper portions of the columns. The water injection propellers are arranged on the front columns. Water inlets of the water injection propellers are formed in the lower ends of the supports. The horizontal balancing hydrofoil is arranged at the lower end of the tail column. The ship gradually accelerates from the aerostation state, and the lift hydrofoils generate lift force; as the speed reaches 2/3 of the designed cruising speed, the lift hydrofoils and an airfoil lift the ship body to leave the water surface; the higher the ship's speed becomes, the higher the ship is lifted, and the lift force of the lift hydrofoils are finally replaced by the lift force of the airfoil which lifts the whole ship to leave the water surface, with the designed sailing height reached.
