The invention provides a method and a system for providing second-level riding information to high-speed rail passengers. By the method and the system, high-speed rail trains can be ensured to run according to a running timetable on a second level, passengers in compartments and platforms can be informed of second-level station arrival time of the current high-speed rail train, and convenience is brought to the passengers to know the second-level station arrival time of the trains that the passengers currently ride or wait for, so that time of the passengers can be reasonably arranged.
