The invention relates to transportation equipment in a mine field, in particular to a tramcar braking device which comprises an axle mounted at the bottom of a tramcar. Wheels are arranged at two ends of the axle, an outer end cap is arranged outside each wheel, a speed limiting device is arranged in each wheel and comprises a braking static disc fixed on the axle and a braking movable disc fixed on the corresponding wheel, a pushing shaft is arranged on each wheel and connected with the corresponding braking movable disc, a fly hammer is arranged on the outer end cap of each wheel, a fly hammer seat is arranged on a hammer handle of each fly hammer and connected with the outer end cap of the corresponding wheel, and the other end of each hammer handle is connected with the corresponding pushing shaft. The tramcar braking device has the advantages of simple structure, convenience, high controllability, long service life, simplicity in maintenance and the like and has high popularization and use value.
