The invention discloses an initiative collision avoidance method of a mining electric locomotive based on a danger coefficient, and belongs to a mining electric locomotive safety auxiliary brake method. The method comprises the steps of acquiring current motion information of an electric locomotive, and acquiring operating state data; calculating the danger coefficient for the electric locomotive to have the collision accident according to the acquired operating state data of the locomotive, and calculating a danger grade; transmitting acoustic-optic alarming signals of different grades and corresponding brake signals according to the danger grade; repeatedly acquiring the operating state data of the electric locomotive. The initiative collision avoidance method is reasonable in design, the needed brake safety distance and danger coefficient can be calculated according to the current running speed and following distance, the alarming and brake in different grades can be realized, the rear-end or head-on crash probability of the electric locomotive can be greatly reduced, safeguard can be provided for the underground safety production, the control priority of a driver can be guaranteed, and the method is suitable for being popularized in coal mine well.
