The invention discloses an air spring based active suspension device. The device comprises vehicle height sensors for sensing the left height and the right height of a vehicle, an electric control unit for receiving the signals of the vehicle height sensors at the left side and the right side and controlling a solenoid valve to work, a high-pressure compressed air generating device for generating high-pressure compressed air generated when the vehicle decelerates, ad pressure driving device which is connected between the vehicle height sensors and the high-pressure compressed air generating device, and an air spring which is connected to the pressure driving device to straighten a vehicle body. According to the device, the dynamic energy generated by the vehicle decelerating can be stored to supply energy to the active suspension device; the vehicle body can be straightened when turning, and therefore, the energy consumption of an active suspension can be decreased.
