A disclosed rubber composition used for manufacturing a tire tread is characterized by comprising the following compositions in parts by weight: 30-50 parts of emulsion-polymerized styrene butadiene rubber, 10-25 parts of polybutadiene rubber, 10-20 parts of environment-friendly aromatic oil, 10-20 parts of H-resin, 3-8 parts of high dispersive white carbon black, 5-10 parts of cis-1,4-polybutadiene rubber, 3-5 parts of protective wax, 2-5 parts of an inorganic foaming agent, 1-5 parts of an activator, and 1-5 parts of a curing agent. The rubber composition possesses excellent wet slip resistance and bulging resistance and high wet-land grabbing force, a tire prepared from the rubber composition is endowed with balance performances such as tire wet-land grabbing force, rolling resistance and wear resistance, and also the rubber composition helps to improve wear resistance, tear resistance, and chunking and piece-drop resistance of the tire tread.
