The invention relates to a split empennage for a fixed wing airplane model. The split empennage includes a tail beam connected with an airplane body, the tail beam is provided with a tailplane for controlling the elevation of the airplane, the upper surface of the tailplane is in bolted connection with a first connecting ring, the first connecting ring is sleeved on the tail beam and is connected with the tail beam, the first connecting the ring is fixedly connected with a connecting device for corresponding to a tail beam reinforcing bar, the tail end of the tail beam is provided with a vertical tail for controlling the airplane to move to the left and right, the left side of the vertical tail is in bolted connection with a second connecting ring for corresponding to the tail beam, and the vertical tail is connected with the tail beam through the second connecting ring. The split empennage for the fixed wing airplane model is provided with the connecting rings for connecting the tail beam and the connecting device for installing the reinforcing bar, so the service life of the tail beam is greatly prolonged.
