The invention discloses a ship braking energy control system. The system comprises an alternating-current load, an electric energy storage device, an energy consumption device and a change-over switch control system, wherein the alternating-current load absorbs braking energy which is generated by an electric propulsion system within an energy demand amount, the electric energy storage device is used for storing the braking energy or outputting electric energy to a load connected to a direct-current bus, the energy consumption device is used for consuming the braking energy, and the change-over switch control system controls the braking energy to charge the electric energy storage device when the amount of the braking energy exceeds the energy demand amount of the alternating-current load, and controls the braking energy to be completely consumed through the energy consumption device when the electric energy storage device is fully charged. The method that the direct-current bus is shared, and energy storage and resistance consumption are combined is adopted for reasonably distributing the generated braking energy according to the demand, the capacity and the functions, the energy is efficiently utilized, the regenerative braking energy is sufficiently recycled, a good dynamic characteristic is achieved, energy can be saved, emissions can be reduced, and the ship braking energy control system is environmentally friendly.
