The invention discloses a mechanical braking type brake for a motor vehicle and an electrocar. The mechanical braking type brake comprises a brake base plate, a rotation handle and a brake pull rod, wherein the brake base plate is provided with a break arm and two arc-shaped brake shoes, a cam shaft is arranged between the two arc-shaped brake shoes, the mechanical braking type brake also comprises at least one anti-revolving pull rod, an anti-revolving pull rod bearing and a frame base, the anti-revolving pull rod is hinged with the anti-revolving pull rod bearing, and the anti-revolving pull rod is hinged with the frame base; the anti-revolving pull rod is arranged on the brake bottom plate, the axis line of a hinging hole in the hinged part of the anti-revolving pull rod and the frame base is collinear with that of a hinging hole in the hinged part of the brake pull rod and the rotation handle. The mechanical braking type brake can be used for solving the problems that in mechanical braking of the prior art, a steel plate spring loses a damping function due to the connection between a fixed pull rod and a rear axle and the connection between the fixed pull rod and a frame, when the vehicle is impacted, the fixed pull rod is easily broken by pulling, a fixed pull rod base is damaged, the frame is broken by pulling, the rear axle is twisted, and the braking effect is influenced.
