The invention relates to the field of mechanical devices, in particular to an upper-and-lower-frame damping structure suitable for a light caterpillar tractor. According to the technical scheme, the upper-and-lower-frame damping structure comprises a frame, the frame comprises an upper frame and a lower frame, the upper frame is used for being connected with an engine, a gearbox and a drive control board, and the lower frame is located below the upper frame and connected with the walking part of a caterpillar track. The upper frame is connected with the lower frame through a damping device. According to the upper-and-lower-frame damping structure suitable for the light caterpillar tractor, under the condition that cost is not increased, the engine is accurately located in installation, when vibration is large or large horizontal force is exerted, the possibility that the engine moves leftwards and rightwards is reduced, and influence of operation vibration of the engine on the frames and an operator is reduced.
