The invention relates to a motor vehicle power system, and provides a suspension assembly for an internal combustion engine so as to solve the problem that an existing engine supporting system can not restrain vibration effectively. The suspension assembly comprises a first siding rail, a second siding rail, a third sliding rail, a fourth siding rail, a first sliding block, a second sliding block, a third sliding block, a fourth sliding block, elastic components, a first connecting rod, a second connecting rod, a third connecting rod and a fourth connecting rod, wherein the first sliding rail, the second sliding rail, the third sliding rail and the fourth sliding rail are fixed to a vehicle frame, the first sliding block, the second sliding block, the third sliding block and the fourth sliding block are arranged in the sliding rails respectively, and the first connecting rod, the second connecting rod, the third connecting rod and the fourth connecting rod are used for connecting the sliding blocks with the engine. By the adoption of the structure, vertical vibration of the engine is converted to horizontal sliding of the sliding blocks along the sliding rails, and the horizontal sliding is substantially attenuated by the elastic components arranged on the two sides of the sliding rails, so that the vibration of the engine is effectively restrained from being transmitted to the vehicle frame or the interior of a passenger cabin, and the NVH performance of a motor vehicle is improved.
