The invention discloses a trailing arm type rear suspension system for a power-driven transport van. The trailing arm type rear suspension system comprises a vertical connection structure, a transverse connection structure and a longitudinal connection structure. The vertical connection structure is composed of two shock absorbing mechanisms arranged on the two sides, the shock absorbing mechanisms are connected between a frame and an axle, and each shock absorbing mechanism is composed of a spiral spring and a hydraulic shock absorber which are connected in parallel. The transverse connection structure is formed by a transverse stabilizing rod, one end of the transverse stabilizing rod is hinged to a lower extending rod of the frame, and the other end of the transverse stabilizing rod is hinged to an upper extending rod of the axle. The longitudinal connection structure is formed by two rear trailing arms arranged on the two sides, the front ends of the rear trailing arms are hinged to the frame, and the rear ends of the rear trailing arms are hinged to the axle. The trailing arm type rear suspension system is designed special for the power-driven transport van, and is simple and durable in structure, small in occupation space and low in manufacturing cost. Even through the power-driven transport van is limited in comfort and controllability, the trailing arm type rear suspension system can completely meet the need of the power-driven transport van because the power-driven transport van is mainly used in an urban road environment.
