The invention discloses a small rail car wheel fastening method. The small rail car wheel fastening method includes the following steps that (1) fastening bolts penetrate through holes in upper supporting rings; (2) the fastening bolts are fixed on the upper supporting rings; (3) wheel bodies of wheels are mounted; (4) lower supporting rings and the upper supporting rings are buckled; (5) the fastening bolts are fixed and nuts are screwed to be fastened and matched with the fastening bolts so that the lower supporting rings are matched with the upper supporting rings to sleeve hubs of wheels. The small rail car wheel fastening method has the advantages that the fastening bolts are fixed on the upper supporting rings so that the nuts are merely required to be screwed during clamping of the two supporting rings after finishing of wheel assembling, the operation of the fastening bolts is not required so that stress parts such as supporting plates can not be damaged, the wheel mounting layout is not affected, the strength is reliable, and the whole operation process is simple, reliable, convenient and rapid.
