The invention relates to supporting legs for a masted type lift. The supporting legs include support arms respectively connected with the four corners of a lift rack in a rotating manner through pivots, adjusting rods arranged at the other ends of the support arms and capable of moving up and down in the vertical direction, footing pieces positioned at the bottoms of the adjusting rods, and locking devices for relatively locking the support arms and the rack to be in an unfolded state and an folded state, wherein particularly the support arms can be folded respectively on both sides of the rack in the length direction; when the support arm is in the unfolded state and the locking device locks, the support arm forms an included angle of 60 degrees with the length extending direction of the rack; when the support arm is in the folded state and the locking device locks, the support arm is in the same direction as the length extending direction of the rack. According to the invention, the locking devices are arranged, which can lock the supporting legs at the unfolded angles quickly and accurately; the operation is very convenient; and in addition, after the supporting legs are folded, the supporting legs and the rack can be relatively locked, which facilitates the transport and safe use of the lift.
