The invention provides an operating vehicle shift calculation algorithm based on Beidou positioning; the algorithm is more precise in up-going and down-going judgments than the existing first class of algorithms; misjudgments in up-going and down-going caused by drifting of the Big Dipper are avoided; the turn-around problem of the second class of algorithms is also avoided; once the vehicle turns around and drives more than a preset threshold, the up-going and the down-going are switched immediately. Additionally, the algorithm also includes an arrival announce algorithm; while calculating the up-going and the down-going, the trajectory distance is calculated at real time; the distance of arriving the next stop can be obtained by subtracting the current trajectory distance from the next stop trajectory distance; the electronic station board and the palm arrival forecast calculation are avoided; and the instantaneity of information publish is increased.
