The invention discloses a flexible safety gear linkage mechanism for a home elevator. Left and right safety gears with gear bodies and lifting rods are arranged on left and right vertical beams of a cage respectively, and are linked through a linkage rod, wherein the lifting rods are linked with cranks to form a universal linkage mechanism through a linkage shaft; the linkage rod is provided with left and right pull rods; one end of the left pull rod is connected with the left crank linked with the lifting rod of the left safety gear, and the other end of the left pull rod is connected with a turnbuckle; one end of the right pull rod is connected with the right crank linked with the lifting rod of the right safety gear, and the other end of the right pull rod is connected with the left pull rod through the turnbuckle. The linkage mechanism has the advantages that the linkage mechanism is flexible and reliable in structure and higher in safety; the linkage mechanism is simple in design and high in practicability; the linkage mechanism is convenient to operate, and gaps between the safety gears and guide rails are relatively easy to regulate; the linkage mechanism is smaller in size and applicable to the home elevator; the linkage mechanism can be regulated leftwards and rightwards, and is difficult to lock.
