The invention relates to an unmanned aerial vehicle system and a method thereof for remotely sensing and measuring a high-spectral-resolution aerial image. The system comprises a lithium battery, a power supply circuit thereof, a gathering and controlling box, a high-spectral imaging spectrograph, a gyroscope stable platform, a GPS (Global Position System) auxiliary inertial navigator and an unmanned aerial vehicle, wherein the lithium battery is connected with the gathering and controlling box and the high-spectral imaging spectrograph by the power supply circuit, and supplies power to the same; the gathering and controlling box comprises an ARM (Advanced RISC Machines) processor, a DSP (Digital Signal Processor) image processor, a high-speed FLASH memorizer and a high-speed CF (Compact Flash) card; the ARM processor is connected with the DSP image processor and the high-speed FLASH memorizer respectively; the high-speed CF card is connected with the DSP image processor; the high-spectral imaging spectrograph is connected with the DSP image processor of the gathering and controlling box by a CameraLink connector; the GPS auxiliary inertial navigator is connected with the ARM processor of the gathering and controlling box by an inertial navigator connector; a control system of the unmanned aerial vehicle is connected with the ARM processor of the gathering and controlling box. The unmanned aerial vehicle system has the advantages of high integration level, light weight, convenience for assembling and low maintenance cost.
