The invention discloses a simple pneumatic movable wind-grate ventilation mechanism for locomotives. The mechanism comprises a mounting frame, a plurality of blades, a connection plate and a cylinder, wherein the blades comprise movable blades and fixed blades which are alternatively and horizontally arranged, two ends of each movable blade are rotatably connected with the mounting frame by a rotation shaft, two ends of each fixed blade are fixedly connected with the mounting frame, the connection plate is arranged in the vertical direction and sequentially and fixedly connected with the rotation shaft of each movable blade from the top to the bottom by crank arms, the cylinder is mounted on the mounting frame in the vertical direction, and the output end of the cylinder is fixedly connected with the connection plate. A louver is made into a simple movable wind-grate structure, the blades as the wind grates, the cylinder for control and the frame are designed into a modular integrated structure, so that the ventilation mechanism is convenient to demount and mount and has the functions of ventilation, opening and closing, and protection against sand, wind and rain.
