The invention provides a vehicle seat preventing whiplash injury and belongs to the technical field of vehicle safety. A stretch control unit is arranged in a headrest and is capable of responding before collision and driving a stretch protecting pillow to extend rapidly, and the stretch protecting pillow stops when contacting with the head immediately; during collision, the distance between the pillow and the head is shortened through the extension of the stretch protecting pillow, the horizontal shifting of the head and neck is reduced, and the backward whiplash effect of the head is reduced. A buffering energy absorption damping rebound unit is arranged between a base and the backrest, during collision, under the effect of inertia, the human back produces a backward stress on the backrest and performs deflection displacement between the base and the backrest, under the effect of buffering energy absorption, the deflection kinetic energy and deflection speed of the backrest are decreased, the backrest rebounds when being threw to the limit, the rebounding speed of the backrest is decreased under the damping effect, and the forward head whiplash effect is reduced accordingly.
