The invention discloses a rear suspension system of an engineering vehicle. The rear suspension system comprises two hydraulic cylinders, a connecting oil pipe, spline shafts, tires and wheel seats. The tiers are rotatably arranged on the wheel seats. The spline shafts are vertically arranged, with the lower end fixed upon the wheel seats. Each hydraulic cylinder comprises a cylinder, a piston and a piston rod. The pistons are arranged in the cylinders. One end of each piston rod is fixed at the other end of the piston to be fixedly connected with the upper end of the spline shaft. Oil pipe openings are formed in the upper ends of the cylinders. Two ends of the connecting oil pipe are connected with the oil pipe openings of the hydraulic cylinders. The rear suspension system is small in size and good in use effect and allows the whole engineering vehicle to be light, and cost is lowered.
