The present invention provides an elevator device which is configured so that, while the door is closed, the gap between the lower end of the door body and a car sill can be more reliably sealed while the performance of opening and closing operation of the door body is maintained, so that a drive section is provided at a position not visible to a passenger, and so that the elevator device can be driven without causing a problem in design. An elevator device is configured so as to comprise: a pressing section (10) provided within a car sill groove (9a) under a door body (4) and pressed by the operation of closing the door; and an interlock mechanism (8) provided within the door body (4), the interlock mechanism (8) being configured so that, when the pressing body (10) is pressed while the door is closed, the interlock mechanism (8) lowers a lower hiding body (19) and seals the gap between the lower end of the door body (4) and a car sill (9), the interlock mechanism (8) being also configured so that, while the door is open, the interlock mechanism (8) vertically moves the lower hiding body (19) so that the lower hiding body (19) is separated from the car sill (9).
