The invention relates to a handrail (1) for moving walkways, escalators or the like, that can be mounted on a guide element, having a substantially constant cross-section along its profile direction (C). The handrail (1) comprises: a casing (2) which can be arranged on the guide element, and a cover layer (3) which is arranged on the casing (2). The top layer (3) comprises a thermoplastic elastomer. The invention also relates to a method for producing a handrail (1).

    L'invention concerne une main courante (1) destinée à des trottoirs roulants, à des escaliers mécaniques ou similaires, qui peut être montée sur un élément de guidage, ayant une section transversale sensiblement constante le long de sa direction de profilé (C). La main courante (1) comprend : un corps (2) qui peut être disposé sur l'élément de guidage, et une couche de recouvrement (3) qui est disposée sur le corps (2). La couche supérieure (3) comprend un élastomère thermoplastique. L'invention concerne également un procédé de production d'une main courante (1).
