A diagnostic system of a vehicle for diagnosing a drive belt of a continuously variable transmission. A diagnostic circuit detects or predicts a fault of the drive belt based on an operating parameter received from a sensor associated with the vehicle during a predetermined diagnostic period.

    L'invention concerne un système de diagnostic d'un véhicule servant à diagnostiquer une courroie d'entraînement d'une transmission à variation continue. Un circuit de diagnostic détecte ou prédit un défaut de la courroie d'entraînement au cours d'une période de diagnostic prédéterminée, sur la base d'un paramètre de fonctionnement reçu d'un capteur associé au véhicule.
