Compositions and methods for making polyurethane tires with improved dynamic performance while maintaining good hydrolysis and wear resistance. The compositions include at least a polyisocyanate composition having a free NCO-value of 15-25 wt.% comprising an isocyanate-tenninated prepolymer which is the reaction product of an excess of an organic polyisocyanate and a polyether polyol having an average nominal hydroxyl functionality of 2-6, a number average molecular weight of 2000-6000 and an ethylene oxide content of 20-35 wt.%, wherein at least 50% of the ethylene oxide groups are present at the end of the polyether polyol; and a polyol composition comprising at least one polymer polyether polyol having a number average molecular weight in the range 2000-7000 and having solid particles in the range of 15-35 wt.% calculated on the total weight of the polymer polyether polyol; and chain extenders and/or cross-linkers; and catalysts; and blowing agents; and conventional additives.

    L'invention concerne des compositions élastomères en polyuréthane permettant de produire des pneus, des procédés permettant de produire lesdits pneus, et des pneus composés desdits élastomères en polyuréthane. Lesdits pneus sont particulièrement appropriés pour être utilisés comme pneus pour des véhicules à faible vitesse tels que des pneus de bicyclettes.
