A wind turbine blade that is at least 50 metres long has a fairing having a number of sections including a tip section that occupies at least the radially outermost 10% of the aerodynamic fairing. The tip section is a moulded composite component that is moulded as a single piece forming the entire periphery of the tip section on both the leeward and windward sides of the blade.
