Subject of the invention is a bellows (10) for a crossover (5) between two articulately connected vehicles or vehicle components (1,2)), e.g. of an articulated bus, whereby the bellows (10) comprises two side walls (12), whereby the side walls (12) of the bellows (10) are connected to each by a bellows bottom (16), whereby in the transition area (14) from the side wall (12) to the bellows bottom (16), the bellows (10) comprises a multitude of insert pleat units (18), whereby the side wall (12) comprises side wall pleats (13), whereby on the exterior side of the bellows, each of the side wall pleats (13) possesses a bellows frame (15), whereby each insert pleat unit (18) extends on the bellows interior side (24) between the respective side wall pleat (13), whereby the insert pleat unit (18) comprises at least two horizontally extending insert pleats (20, 22), which are held by the bellows frame (15) of the side wall pleat (13), between which the insert pleat unit (18) extends.
