A frame structure for a saddle-ride type vehicle is formed by welding a plurality of tubular members and a particular air communication between the atmosphere and the interior of the frame is used. A lower frame and an upper frame are connected to each other by a series of reinforcing frames. A lower end of the lower frame includes an atmospheric air communicating hole formed at a closed end thereof allowing the inside of the lower frame to communicate with the atmosphere. A series of vent air ports are provided where the reinforcing frame connects to the lower and upper frames and are interior to the frames and accommodate air communication.
