The invention relates to a control surface (3) for an aerodynamic lifting surface (2) of aircraft comprising a main closing rib (9) located at one end of the control surface (3) to which a main torsion bar (8) is joined, the mentioned torsion bar (8) being joined at its other end to a lever system (14) on which at least one actuator (15) acts, such that it is possible to act on the rotation of the mentioned control surface (3) during the flight of the aircraft. A main torsion bar located at the edge of the control surface defines an access about which the control surface may rotate such that it may move from an orientation coplanar with the aerodynamic lifting surface provides a mechanism for controlling surfaces without the need for mounting external actuators which require aerodynamic fairings. The invention also relates to an actuation method for actuating such a control surface (3).

    La présente invention concerne une gouverne (3) pour une surface de portance aérodynamique (2) d'aéronef qui comprend une nervure de fermeture principale (9) située à une extrémité de la gouverne (3) à laquelle une barre de torsion principale (8) est jointe, ladite barre de torsion (8) étant jointe à son autre extrémité à un système de levier (14) sur lequel au moins un actionneur (15) agit, de sorte qu'il est possible d'agir sur la rotation de ladite gouverne (3) au cours du vol de l'aéronef. La présente invention concerne également un procédé d'actionnement pour actionner une telle gouverne (3).
