The embodiments of the present application belong to the field of vehicle control. Provided are a method and apparatus for calibrating an engine torque, and a vehicle controller. The method comprises: acquiring an engine target torque and a generator signal torque of a hybrid vehicle; calculating a torque deviation of the hybrid vehicle according to the engine target torque and the generator signal torque; and performing self-learning calculation on an engine demand torque of the hybrid vehicle on the basis of the torque deviation, and calibrating an engine signal torque on the basis of the engine demand torque, such that the engine signal torque, the generator signal torque and the engine target torque of the hybrid vehicle are consistent. By means of the embodiments of the present application, the problems of the oil consumption performance being poor and the driving performance in low-temperature limiting conditions being poor due to a real torque of an engine being relatively large are solved, and the problem of the electric quantity during an emission loop test process being unbalanced due to the real torque of the engine being relatively small is solved; and by means of improving the torque precision, the oil consumption performance of a vehicle is improved, the low-temperature driving performance of the vehicle is improved, and the electric quantity is more easily balanced.
