A fleet and trolley system (1), a first method of charging a work machine (400), and a second method of charging a fleet of work machines (500) are disclosed. The fleet and trolley system (1) includes a trolley network (20), at least one zero-emission work machine (10), and a controller (30). The controller (30) manages a scheduled usage of the trolley network (20), a power draw, and a distribution of the power draw by the work machine (10). The first method (400) includes monitoring states of the work machine (10), scheduling a usage of the trolley network (20), and supplying electric power to the work machine (10). The second method (500) includes monitoring states of a fleet (100), monitoring states of the trolley network (20), scheduling usages of the trolley network (20), and supplying electric power to one or more machines (10) of the fleet (100). Advantageously, the disclosed system and methods may improve an efficiency, productivity, and longevity of a fleet (100) of zero-emission work machines (10).
