A vehicle charging port cover control method and a vehicle charging port cover control device. The vehicle comprises a charging end assembly (100), the charging end assembly comprises a charging port (10) and a charging port cover (20), the charging port (10) comprises a quick charging port (11) and a slow charging port (12), and the charging port cover comprises a quick charging port cover (21) and a slow charging port cover (22). The method comprises: upon receiving a charging door-opening signal, controlling both the quick charging port cover and the slow charging port cover to open; generating a door-closing instruction when it is detected that a plug-in end of a charging device is inserted into one among the quick charging port and the slow charging port; and, according to the door-closing instruction, controlling the charging port cover corresponding to the charging port into which the plug-in end is not inserted to close.
