RV Solar Stack abstract 04/04/2022 The disclosed RV Solar Stack is a rectangular two piece mechanical solar panel housing as seen in Fig 1. The base is welded aluminium as seen in Fig 2 however it can be made from other claimed materials. Solar panels are attached to the side plates (top frame) via stainless steel fixings and 2 x stainless steel rollerslides. The top panel is in a fixed position whilst the lower panel is fixed to the stainless slides as seen in Fig 7. The top frame is hinged to the base frame as seen in Fig 5 The lower solar panel is mechanical, mounted on the stainless slides and operates via a 12/24v linear actuator as seen in Fig 8. In the "open" position, the top panel does not move, but the lower solar panel slides out from under the top panel via the 12/24v linearactuator as seen in Fig 10. The linearactuator is engaged either by a 12v push button hand held remote control unit, or by a fixed 3 way momentary 12v toggle switch.
