FRICTION WEGDE DAMPER STRUCTURE FOR A 3-PIECE BOGIE A friction wedge damper structure for a 3-piece bogie, and a method of fabricating a friction 5 wedge damper structure for a 3-piece bogie. The friction wedge damper structure comprises a substantially rigid frame part comprising a base and a first side face, the first side face configured for abutting a side frame of the 3-piece bogie; a substantially rigid wedge part disposed on the base and adjacent a second side face of the frame part opposite the first side face and such that an inclined face of the wedge part is configured for abutting a bolster of the o 3-piece bogie; and an elastic part disposed between the base and the wedge part.
