In order to improve the durability of a tyre bead part, in a pneumatic tyre (1), the two end parts of a tyre bead core (21) in the direction of tyre width are respectively formed by vertical lines (25) extending in the radial direction of the tyre; with regard to the vertical lines (25), the length CV of the vertical lines (25) is within the range of 20% or more and 30% or less relative to the core height CH; with regard to a first layer (31a), a second layer (31b), and a third layer (31c) of the tyre bead core (21), in each two adjacent layers (31), the number of tyre bead lines (30) of the layer (31) positioned on the outer side in the radial direction of the tyre is two or more than the number of tyre bead lines (30) of the layer (31) positioned on the inner side in the radial direction of the tyre; the mutual offset of the tyre bead lines (30) positioned at the ends of a single side in the direction of tyre width is 0.5 of the amount of the tyre bead lines (30); and, in the first layer (31a) and second layer (31b) and in the second layer (31b) and third layer (31c), the sides in which the mutual offset of the tyre bead lines (30) is 0.5 of the amount of the tyre bead lines (30) are opposite to one another in the direction of tyre width.
