A lamp for a precision approach path indicator comprising at least two radiation sources (1, 2, 3, 4) emitting electromagnetic radiation of different wavelengths, a beam of a radiation of a first wavelength (1,2) and a beam of a radiation of a second wavelength (3, 4) a partition (6) for separating the beam of the radiation of the first wavelength (1, 2) from the beam of the radiation of the second wavelength (3, 4), while the partition (6) is having a width (a), characterized in that the lamp is further provided with an offsetting element (9) that offsets at least one of the beams essentially towards the other of the beams by the width (c) to compensate the obstruction of the created by the partition (6).
