A kickstand including a head, a leg pivotably connected to the head and a clamp connected to the head and a first pad located at the inside of the clamp and facing the head. Multiple screws are threadedly connected to the clamp and each screw includes a contact end. The contact ends of the multiple screws extend beyond the clamp and contact against the first pad to partially deform the first pad. The tube of the chainstay is clamped between the head and the clamp, and the first pad contacts the tube of the chainstay to avoid the kickstand from pivoting or loosening relative to the chainstay.
