AN IoT BASED HEAVY VEHICLE DETECTION SYSTEM FOR RESTRICTED AREA The present invention is an IoT enabled vehicle detection system which detects heavy vehicle and establishes communication through zigbee and internet connectivity. The piezeo sensing system is mounted on the roads in which the heavy vehicles are forbidden to enter and generates a warning to the designated vehicle driver to halt at the next crossing where the heavy vehicle exceeding the pre-set value of threshold limit . The system generates an alert to the cloud based control room, for generating a warning to such driver and prevent them from violating the laws and regulations of the traffic regulation . This system provides real-time monitoring of the heavy vehicle and establishes effective communication through internet and wireless personal area network (WPAN).
