The invention discloses a device and method for automatically adjusting pedestrian crossing street lamp. The device includes a first lamppost. The first lamppost is provided with a first street lamp and a signal lamp. The first street lamp and the signal lamp are both connected to an upper computer. The first lamp The pole is also equipped with a pedestrian crossing monitoring system. The pedestrian crossing monitoring system is connected to the upper computer.
