Patent Title: IoT Based Smart Rodent Repelling System for Automobiles Our invention "IoT Based Smart Rodent Repelling System for Automobiles" is an automatic IoT based electronic rodent repellent system consisting microprocessor / microcontroller based embedded control unit contained in water resistant and shock proof container for deployment in automobiles for repelling/scaring away the rodents like rats, field mouse, moles that can cause harm to the wiring and other vulnerable parts of a automobiles. The invented system is contained in box that can easily be deployed under the bonnet of automobiles. The invented system has four separate subunits to repel the rodents from the automobiles. The invented system has a motion sensor deployed at various place of automobiles to detect movement of rodents. Invented system also has pairs of infrared / heat / thermal sensor to detect presence of a live, moving creature. The motion sensor and infrared red sensor are connected to set of comparators. Comparator continuously monitors and compares the signal with a preset threshold value. If incoming signal is greater than the threshold value, the comparator sends the signal to the electronic control unit for processing. The electronic control unit consist of a microprocessor/microcontroller with embedded program to control the operations of invented system. The invented system has four subunits to repel rodents. First subunit is an audio manipulator with amplifier which produces loud scary sounds to scare away the rodents. Intensity and sound generated by audio manipulator keeps on increasing and changing audio bass. Second subunit consist of bright light ray generator which produces rays of bright light by employing LEDs / lasers / lamps. The intensity of light generated is very high so as to create a discomfort on eyes of the rodent. Third subunit is an electronically operated spray canister. This spray canister is filled with a rodent repellent spray and is operated electronically. Fourth submit is an ultrasonic sound generator it produces ultrasonic sound at the intensity which is unbearable for the rodents. The invented system has a power converter system which is connected to the battery of automobile and is used to convert voltage of automobile battery to the levels suitable for the invented system. The system consists of microcontroller / microprocessor with an embedded program to detect the presence of rodents in automobiles and to activate all four subunits to scare away the rodent. The system has electronic control unit which is connected with an IoT gateway to transmit the alert signal through 5G technology on the smartphone of the owner of automobile. The owner of the automobile can also turn off the system in case of false detection or if desired by him, through IoT network.
