Page 1 of 14 Transporter with adjustable centre of gravity Abstract Transporter with multi wheeler which travelled on the ground through dip and turn its body move side to side from midline axis of transporter, changing its centre of gravity to offset centrifugal force on turning and changing camber of the ground in safety and maintaining its stability Description The present application claims priority from Australia. provisional application No. 2019901675 filed May. 22, 2019 Customer Ref No DRRS/PP/02 and hereby incorporated by reference. HISTORICAL VIEW Nearly all present multi wheels ground transporter from 2 wheels (on tandem) up, have fix centre of gravity, when they are on the move, fairly stable on the straight, but not so when they are turning or on uneven ground, because of centrifugal force and changing ground camber, become unstable, dangerous and worse with increasing speed In transporters with 2 wheels in tandem, to offset centrifugal force and changes of camber gradient they actively lean into the turn to retain its stability With tires ground contact area constantly changes, tires profile have to be rounded, reducing tires ground contact area With smaller area of contact, significantly reduce its road holding especially when cornering (Fig 3a,b) Multi wheelers transporter when turning, they lean out because of centrifugal force putting more load on outside wheels and become unstable (Figlb,c) The instability worsened with speed, on turning, smaller turning radius, high transporter centre of gravity, narrow tracts and something beyond our control like wind direction and speed, camber of the road To improve stability transporter manufacturer, lowered its centre of gravity, by installing heavier part lower on chassis, widening its tract, fit wider tyres, complicated suspensions and increase body rigidity to minimise lateral flexion
