Submarine device designed to be deployed in water, the device comprising: - a set of arms (10a, 10b, 10c, 10d, 10e) that are articulated to a support body (9) having a reference axis r, the arms (10a, 10b, 10c, 10d, 10e) being able to be held in a retracted configuration and being able to deploy to a deployed configuration in which the arms (10) extend about the reference axis r, the arms (10a, 10b, 10c, 10d, 10e) deploying by distal ends of the arms moving away from the axis r, – a set of at least one bending spring that is loaded elastically in bending when the arms (10a, 10b, 10c, 10d, 10e) are held in the retracted configuration and able to relax when the arms (10a, 10b, 10c, 10d, 10e) are freed from the retracted configuration, the set of at least one bending spring being configured and arranged so as to exert, on at least one of the arms (10a, 10b, 10c, 10d, 10e), when the arms (10a, 10b, 10c, 10d, 10e) are freed from the retracted configuration, a thrust that engages the deployment of the arm (10a, 10b, 10c, 10d, 10e).
