The invention concerns a tyre for a heavy civil engineering vehicle, intended to be mounted on a rim with a nominal diameter of at least 25 inches, comprising: - a tread having a radial thickness HT of at least 30 mm and having a composition made from at least one diene elastomer, a reinforcing filler primarily comprising a filler covered at least partially with silica, a coupling agent for coupling the filler to the elastomer and a crosslinking system, characterised in that the dispersion of the filler in the elastomer matrix has a Z-score of at least 70.
