The boat must be moored as you would normally with ropes at the bow and stern two spring lines and fenders. You now position a mooring bungee at the bow and one at the stern and bolt them to your pontoon or jetty so the bungee and rope is over the boat. The rope on the bungee are now tied to a cleat on the pontoon side of the boat. when pressure is applied and the bungee is stretched the resistance will move the boat away from the mooring to a predetermined distance. The boat is now held away from the mooring eliminating any damage caused by strong winds or passing boat traffic.
