Provided is a station building power supply device that minimizes fluctuation in the power amount of an AC system that supplies AC power to a station load while making it possible to effectively use surplus regenerative power. The station building power supply device is provided with a power storage unit (9) that stores surplus regenerative power within a substation section, a first power conversion unit (11) that performs bidirectional DC/DC power conversion between a feeder line (6) and the storage unit (9), and a second power conversion unit (12) that converts DC power that is supplied from the power storage unit (9) into AC power that is supplied to a station load (4). The station building power supply device is configured so that: a first voltage threshold value for detecting the generation of surplus regenerative power within the substation section is set with respect to a feed voltage; a first charge amount threshold value for detecting whether the power storage unit (9) is capable of discharge is set with respect to the charge amount of the power storage unit (9); the first power conversion unit (11) is controlled, power is supplied from the feeder line (6) to the power storage unit (9), and the power storage unit (9) is charged when the feed voltage surpasses the first voltage threshold value; and the second power conversion unit (12) is controlled and power is supplied from the power storage unit (9) to the station load (4) when the charge amount of the power storage unit (9) surpasses the first charge amount threshold value.
