An extrusion blow moulding process for manufacturing a buoyancy float of the type comprising an inflatable elongate hollow body of thermoplastics material, carrying at each end a support connector which in turn carries at least a pair of spaced apart anchorages. The process comprises forming a parison having a pair of spaced apart thickened end portions joined by a thinner neck portion such that the amount of material in the thickened end portions fills that portion of the mould used to form each support connector whereby effectively on closing the mould that portion of the thermoplastics material is compression moulded.
