AS we have received a number of letters in regard to what we wrote in June on “The Need for Co-operative Effort”, we have decided to return to the subject this month in order to deal with some of the points raised in the correspondence. All the letters, without exception, warmly endorsed the attitude we took up, though some of them considered that we did not go far enough and brought to our notice various specific cases of lack of co-operation with which the writers are themselves familiar. We cannot, of course, deal with these individually but there is, none the less, scope for discussing generically some of the points raised.
