IN June Allied Bendix Aerospace will deliver a digital flight control computer (DFLCC) prototype for the F-16 C/D single-engine, high performance air-to-air combat fighter. The DFLCC will, it is claimed, be the first computer in production to digitally control by wire all the flight surfaces (the actuators and stabilisers) in a military aircraft.
